Counselling
Mind Space therapists provide compassionate, trauma-informed virtual counselling for youth and young adults (ages 13–24) who are at risk of, or have experienced, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, gender-based violence, and complex trauma. Our registered mental health professionals offer confidential, low-barrier, and strengths-based support grounded in evidence-informed practice. Therapy focuses on building safety, emotional regulation, coping skills, and self-efficacy while honouring each client’s lived experience. Services are culturally responsive, gender-inclusive, and centred on choice, collaboration, and empowerment. Flexible online scheduling is available to reduce barriers to accessing care and support ongoing healing and stability.
Peer Support
Mind Space peer support workers provide compassionate, survivor-informed virtual support to youth and young adults (ages 13–24) who are at risk of, or have experienced, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, and complex trauma. Peer support is grounded in lived experience, relational practice, and trauma-informed care. Workers offer non-judgmental listening, emotional support, system navigation, and practical coping strategies while fostering hope, connection, and self-efficacy. Services are strengths-based, culturally responsive, and gender-inclusive, with an emphasis on safety, choice, and empowerment. Peer support complements clinical therapy and helps reduce isolation while supporting healing and stability.
